Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He hails from India with a Masters in Prosthodontics from GDC Mumbai in 1990 after graduating from Annamalai University in 1987. He taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers’ University Dental School, New Jersey. Dr. Iyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is the Director of the prestigious AAID Implant Maxicourse held in Asia with centers in Abu Dhabi and Bangalore. He co-directs these courses at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Nova Southeastern University, Florida, Roseman University, Utah and Newport Beach, California and in Egypt. Dr. Iyer was inducted as a Fellow in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow and has Fellowships in reputed organizations such as the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists, and the Dental Facial Esthetics Academy. He is the Past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and regularly participates in volunteering for the Annual Meetings of the Academy as a Scientific Chair. Dr.Iyer has lectured in 36 countries, trained over 6000 dentists from around the world and has presented in over 200 Symposia in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Spent one year in Healthpoint hospital by Mubadala, Abu Dhabi in which she has actively participated in clinical programs, collaborated with dental team members, provided emergency and urgent care, effectively triaging and treating patients with wide variety of dental conditions. Provided free oral health screenings and treatments to pediatric patients in collaboration with school officials and community organizations to promote oral health awareness and increase access to dental care. Specialist in the field of Prosthodontics. Full-time professor in Sarajevo Dental University. Co-author of two university textbooks and two projects at the Faculty of Dentistry. She was a participant in congresses, professional meetings, seminars and courses in the country and abroad. She completed two "Clinical masters week programs" in the USA, in Washington in 2021 and 2022. So far, she has published 55 scientific and professional papers and actively participated in domestic and foreign scientific meetings where she was the author or co- author of 48 papers. She is a member of the Cantonal Chamber of Doctors of Dentistry of BiH, a member of the Association of Dentists of BiH and a member of the editorial board of the Dental Journal.

She has contributed to several university textbooks, leads significant research projects, and holds prominent roles in professional organizations and academic committees. She is also the Editor-in- Chief of "Stomatoloski vjesnik" and has been an invited lecturer at numerous international conferences.

Master of Dental Sciences and she obtained the title of Doctor of Science at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Zagreb. In her work experience over the years, she worked as assistant, senior assistant, specialist in oral surgery, and teacher in courses in the field of oral surgery. She held the positions of head of the department, head of the clinic and vice dean for finance and international cooperation. She is author of 3 university books and many of scientific papers and research projects. She mentored many students and specialists.

She has worked in various dental clinics and has been part of the academic staff at the University of Sarajevo since 2018, becoming an Assistant Professor in 2022. She is actively involved in scientific research, various professional organizations, and has co-authored university textbooks.
